16 Months

Reese and Riley are now 16 months old and SO fun- constantly exploring, learning, and making us laugh! How can I LOVE my daughters more and more each day?!!

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

Reese Abigail

* Reese is walking (and even running when it's diaper changing time!) all over the place. She loves pushing strollers, riding her "scooter" and in her car, dancing to music, and entertaining. She's quite the talker, a fabulous sleeper, and has become a sweet "mama" to her stuffed animals and baby dolls. :) She rocks them, hugs and kisses them! She especially loves her Kitty Cat stuffed animal. She can tell us what a monkey says, a dog (sounds awfully like a monkey though :) ), and a kitty and can show us different body parts (eyes, ears, head, etc) She's always on the go, against her bows still :(, and always giggling and smiling showing all 13 teeth. I love my joyful, fearless, precious 1st born. :)

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Riley Grace

Ri is everybody's best friend. In the picture above, we were at a restaurant and she is talking to the table of people next to us- ha! She is ALL smiles- shows her 2 bottom teeth (she has 2 on top now too) and just grins and giggles all day long. Well... unless she's being a drama queen. :) If she wants something, she'll let you know! ha! She's very petite- only 17 lbs at last weigh in, so we're still waiting to turn her carseat around! She's back on formula so we can bulk her up. She loves formula, so she's drinking more milk now than when we had her on whole milk, so that's good. Riley is a FAST crawler, but has no desire to bear weight on her feet to stand or walk... stinker! We're still working with OT- she'll get there. She also tells us what a monkey says, a dog and can point to her eyes, head, nose, mouth, tongue, etc... She adores her pappy (blanket), balls (she's got a great arm!), all things music (great dancer, that one!), and food. :) She has been insisting on wearing her bows lately (YAY!) and brings joy to my heart. My little 2 pounder has come so far! Oh- and "no" is her favorite word- oh dear...

I feel so blessed to be Riley and Reese's Mama! I love being with them everyday- watching them grow and discovering all the precious parts of their personalities that God designed so differently. Words cannot even describe the love. Sometimes I sit back and watch them play and think- I CAN'T believe they are MINE. Thank you, Lord!
