my day

::Today was a Occupational Therapy day for Riley Grace. She's come FAR from her abnormal muscle tone, tortocolis, plagiocephaly days. :) She FINALLY started walking 3 weeks ago-- whoo hooo! So we're working on that with OT. Today, she refused to walk during OT. Like threw herself on the ground kicking and screaming saying NO!!!!!! over and over. Walking during OT is the POINT of OT. Oh well.

:: She only napped about an hour today. Prob because she's getting FOUR molars. Ugh.

:: Riley decided that during lunch, it'd be fun/funny to eat her lunch while an apple slice was on her head. I was trying really hard not to laugh because it would just encourage her :) I was cracking up. She's so silly and she knows it. Proof:
{phone pic}
She's looking at me like, "WHY on Earth are you taking a picture of me? I'm just eating my lunch."

:: Reese no longer loves 1 or 2 pappies (blankies), but finds all of them in the house (that are hers)-- about 6 and carries them around EVERYWHERE. haha! She can hardly see over them.

:: Lately she's had her paci more than just sleeping... I'm trying to break that habit and she's p.o-ed. Not fun. I'm still letting her have it while she's sleeping for now though.

:: I heard about this on the radio this morning and had to look it up myself. I was BLOWN away. What a talented little guy!

:: Today Reese was trying to get on the couch and fussing at me to help her. I kept telling her that she knows how to get up and didn't understand the problem?? Then I saw the funniest thing... I had put BOTH her legs in ONE leg hole of the 'panties' under her skirt. Ha ha!! No wonder she couldn't get up, she couldn't spread her legs. :)

:: Plans are under way for two upcoming parties: Eclipse party ( ihearttwilight) AND R & R's 2nd birthday-- think red and turquoise!!

how was your day??

Just popped over from The Schuler family. My son Graham is special needs. He didn't walk until 17 mos. We've had many a rough days in therapy, so I feel ya!!

I had the same exact comment as Kristi about the apple. That's funny! Yes, many do eat with food on their head because they are such little drama queens. My Adde does the same thing with the blankies. It's so funny how much time she spends trying to pick them all up. Glad you had a great Moms Day!
