FUNNY 20 monthers

Reese and Riley have been absolutely cracking me up (and themselves!) lately! There vocabulary is exploding, Riley likes to copy everything you say, and they are certainly little partners in crime. They've been quite entertaining lately. For example,
Reese:
- After I sneeze, she says, "BESS EW!" (I say that, but I've never taught her that!)
- When I asked her what she wanted to drink with dinner: water or milk, she replied with big matter of fact nod of the head and said, "Coke." (I don't give her coke! She did once help herself to my Sonic drink... apparently it made a great impression.)
- If we're in the house too long, Reese brings me her shoes and says, "Go." She likes to get out and about. :)
- She's still terrified of oven mitts (remember this post?) and vacuum cleaners, but her fear of 'panes' (airplanes) has subsided. She now points and waves. Silly girl!
- "NOOOOOOOO" is her favorite word though. It's lovely.

Riley:
- Little Riley Grace is FINALLY WALKING. Hallelujah! The week we were back from Cancun (2 1/2 weeks ago), she decided that, yes, she would like to walk and off she went. She still crawls too, but she's quite proud of herself- and we are proud too!
- She's a little sponge. She tries to say every word we say. Her little interpretations make me laugh! Some of my favs: veggies= behbs, milk= miikkkkk (think German accent on the k! Same with snack, walk, etc... ha!),
- Anytime she brings you something she hands it to you and says, 'Dank ewww.' If I give something to her, she also says, 'Dank ewww.'
- We were counting together yesterday (well, she was copying the words) and when I got to five she got really excited and held up her hand... she wanted a high five. ha ha!
- She really doesn't like sandals. When I try to put them on her, she says, "Nanall no no!" and panics. I think she's scared of them. ha! :)

I love how they love each other. how they hug and kiss each other. how they look at each other and start giggling for no reason. how they 'talk' but I don't understand it. how they should be sleeping, but instead are jumping in their cribs giggling together. (don't get me wrong- they fight too!). I love when they say 'lub ew' back to me when I tell them I love them. I love when they light up when they see me. I love that they are mine. :)

I can't believe my little babies will be TWO in September- 4 months away!!! Wow. Time flies. I've been thinking about their birthday party and have gotten some inspiration here and from my friend Kristen (her blog is private or else I'd send you there to see her cuteness!). Can't wait to start working on it. SO fun!!

Fun! I thought the "no's" were bad, but just wait until you get to the "I want do it. Sissy do it. No, no mommy, I do it." Yikes. They are getting more and more independent and opinionated! It is cute though... I can't wait to see what you do for their bday party :)
