Mama's Day

I have a WONDERFUL example of a mama. Her love and encouragement, her faith and laughter have shaped me into me. I love how we are now not only mama/daughter but also friends. My mom is precious to me. I loved celebrating her WITH her (she was in town!!) last weekend. Love you, mom!

A Mama is what I've always wanted to be. When we decided we were ready to be parents, the Lord had other plans for us. We struggled with infertility. It was heart wrenching, but I clung to my God like never before. Through Him, my faith grew. Through Him, and only through Him, I awoke every day hopeful and prayerful. He answered our prayers for a child in His timing... and not one, but TWO! My life has never been the same. Never so full of love, joy, thankfulness. He is so good. My precious daughters are truly miracles. I love them with all my heart, they are the joy to my soul, my answered prayers, and I can't stop singing praise to my Father for the GiFt of Reese and Riley. I had a blessed Mother's Day, indeed!

My precious, adventurous Reese stopping to read a book.

My sweet, silly Riley posing for the camera!

Reesey is into everything these days :)

Riley Grace loves her 'pappy' (blanket) so much!

On Mother's Day, I received beautiful flowers from my sweet hubby, Reese and Riley. He also got me some Junk Gypsy goodies and tickets to the Ben Fold's concert- he knows me well! :) Sunday morning, we went to brunch with Richey's family.

Outside Citrus Bistro (yum!)

Nini and Riley (and the tiger puppet... Richey's dad is always up for entertaining! ha!)

Aunt Becky and Reese- I LOVE this pic :)

Riley saying 'Cheeeeeese!" This picture makes me giggle!!

Reese enjoyed her mac n cheese VERY much.

Papi and Riley.

Later that day, our precious friends came to watch R & R while Richey and I went with my parents and Leah and Ben to dinner and the Ben Fold's concert!! It was SO much fun. The pics are all on Leah's camera, so when I get them, I will do Mama's Day Part 2: Ben Fold's concert! :) Coming soon...
