Just wait until they start picking out their own outfits, especially when you're planning to go out in public. The sock/sandals combo is always popular with Emery.....or wearing the shoes that are 4 sizes too big that she can't even keep on her feet. :-)
I just discovered your blog. Your girls are darling! I have a 3 year old boy and 2 year old girl. The things that don't happen in your March 1st post don't happen at my house either. Glad to know I'm in good company!
I blog too. Stop by for a visit. www.jdbrememberwhoyouare.blogspot
Let's not even talk about how many shoes my kids have. I happen to have a shoe issue myself. Well, I don't think it is an issue. My husband disagrees. Ha!
And, Shelley, I am so with you on the dressing themselves thing. I just took my girls (5 & 8) shopping yesterday, because none of their summer clothes from least year fit. The first thing I told my husband was how much I missed the days when I could just pick their clothes. I literally had to bite my finger to keep from making comments about what they were getting! I just had to keep saying to myself, "As long as it is apppropriate for school..."
