A Happy SnOwY Birthday!

Friday the 12th was my 28th birthday! It was a wonderful day- complete with Starbucks, 11 inches of GORGEOUS snow out my windows, sweeeeet smiley girls, a Canon Rebel (yay!), and playing with my sister and Casen all day!

Leah and Casen came over and we bundled the kids up to play in the snow for the first time (my girls first time). Leah captured the moments with her fabulous camera!

Reese hesitated at first, but then just ran out in it giggling and falling all over the place.
She thought it was fun!
Riley had me help her walk in the snow... but she didn't really want to put her feet down- she just wanted to kick the snow- ha! Eventually she walked all around.
Casen was an ol' pro from the day before- his daddy taught him how to throw snowballs!
They were so excited, they began screaming at the top of their lungs... seriously. Happy screams:

What a blessed day! (We didn't stay out too long due to the lack of gloves! :) )
The snow was such a blessing on my birthday. I loved my day with my girls, sis, and nephew. I even got to see some of our besties Susan and Tommy AND my hubby brought sushi home for dinner. Part 2... my birthday party. We had fun playing with my new camera, so there are lots of pics- funny ones!
