A HaPpY SnOwY Birthday PART II

Saturday night, we left Riley:
and Reese:
in good hands with their grandparents, so we could go celebrate my birthday at my favorite sushi restaurant with some of our favorite friends!

The 28 YEAR OLD- ME!
At the restaurant, I was cracking up because the guys were having WAY too much fun with my new camera. They were acting so silly taking pictures over and over... I think the flash was bothering the entire DARK restaurant! :)

Striking a pose...

Not quite ready...

me, sister Leah, Rach, Susan

My sis and me

I started getting embarrassed with the number of pictures... the flash was drawing lots of attention. ha!
I wish I wasn't laughing in this picture- my eyes are all squinty!

This makes me laugh! We look drunk-- we weren't by the way! :)

Josh and Richey's 'Blue Steel"

Ben and Leah

The guys- Tommy, Josh, Ben, hubby

Then we came back to our house- Richey got me a DELICIOUS birthday cake from a bakery I love. It was chocolate chip!

They sang "Happy Birthday" to me... that's always a bit awkward! ha! :)

Sweet friends (Richey's parents too)

I had a wonderful 28th! Next partaaaaa to come: Richey's 30th this weekend!!! I LOVE February.

Happy Birthday.....and still so young! :-) Your hair looks really cute in these pictures. Is it shorter than usual? I want to know about your new camera too! What kind did you get?

Happy late Birthday to you! Looks like you had a wonderful adult night out. Your girls are so cute and I love the early pics you posted, they really have come so far and look so great! BTW, where do you get their cute little leggings? I have yet to find them but I can't shop all day cause we're still kind of house bound w/ RSV season.

Happy Birthday (albeit a bit belated)! Your cake looks beautiful. And it looks like everyone had a fabulous time!

As you've probably guessed, I followed you hear from your post at HDYDI. I, and many others, can definitely relate to how tough it can be when twins start exercising their mobility. From roughly 15-19 months, I wouldn't take my kids to the playground, because I couldn't keep track of both and was pretty convinced that nothing good would come from those trips. But it has gotten much better since then. So hang in there. Reese and Riley will get there soon. :o)
