when will this week be over??

School is winding down and since Lee Elementary is closing... we're all packing up and it's getting so empty and sad.  BUT at the same time-- summer's around the corner-- WHOOO HOOOOO!!!  

My dog Cali whom I love just cost us nearly $400 at the vet... what's with that?  Don't know why I'm telling you this, but she's having bathroom problems...  Hopefully she'll be all better after her day at the "spa" (that's what I like to call it to her face anyway).  We just love that dog!  Mom and Dad-- if you're reading-- you need to move here ASAP so Angel can live close to play with Cal so she's not neglected when Reese and Riley are here!  And we love you guys and want you here too!!

My sweet 4th graders and Amazing Room Moms threw me a baby shower today!!!  It was precious.   The girls and the moms were gathered around me while I was opening gifts while the boys (all 17 of them) were throwing balloons around, chasing balloons, and putting them up their shirts pretending they were pregnant.  Boys will be boys!  :)  Here are a couple pictures:

My first baby shower was so much fun.  I got so many precious little girl outfits, toys, and stuffed animals.  I also was given a Mastercard gift card--- so sweet!  They also gave me a book-- each child wrote a page starting with, "Mrs. Owen will make a great mom because..."
