On Saturday (Day 3), we arrived in Cozumel, Mexico. SUCH gorgeous beaches in Mexico! We went to a private island/beach to relax and eat lunch. As I was laying out reading or talking with my childhood besties, I just remember looking all around thanking God for that moment. It was perfect. I mean LOOK at my view from my beach chair:

Had so much fun on the beach. DrEaMy... oooooh to be there again right now...
After the beach, we went through the little shops and found a yummy (and a bit WILD! :) ) restaurant. We sat on the patio- see our cruise ship behind us??
We had fun. :) These girls make me laugh more than almost anyone on Earth.

That night back on the ship, we found our band (we were groupies- remember?) and had fun dancing and singing! Also that night, the ship had to turn around to go back to Cozumel due to an accident a lady had. SO scary. Sarah and I met her friend in the bathroom and she told us that her friend was 62 and had rheumatoid arthritis tripped when stepping over a threshold in a restroom and hit her head on a cabinet. It knocked her out and she would not wake up... for a long time... so they took her back to Mexico to a private hospital and flew a dr in from the US. Nurse Anna said that not waking up for that long is not good... not sure exactly what happened, but so heartbreaking...
It was a great day! We had another day at sea and an extended day on Monday due to turning around... more coming soon...
