Cruise Day 2

On the 2nd day, we began our breakfast 'in bed' tradition- having room service bring us coffee, croissants and fruit.  It was a nice way to wake up. :)  Then off to the pool!  

We did a little of this (we were on vacation which therefore justified that it was"five o'clock somewhere") and little of that (laying out and reading). 

**Jessica recommended Tina Fey's Bossypants, so Anna and I both bought it on our Kindles.  OMG- HILARIOUS!!!  You have to read it- it's a bit vulgar, but soooo funny. ;) **

It was a bit cloudy, but so relaxing... well not at first.  The pool was LOUD, but we quickly found the "Serenity" Deck.  It was quiet and fabulous.  We referred to it as "Serenity NOW!"  (You have to yell it to get the full effect... remember that Seinfeld episode??!)  

Oh- and my hat blocked all peripheral vision, so this pic is when I ran into Anna and nearly knocked her over-- Jess captured the moment.  :)

That night (Friday) was the 'formal dinner' night...

I have GoRgEoUs friends.

After dinner, we decided that we didn't want to be formal anymore so we had a wardrobe change.  It was fun to have girl roommates again-- we all borrowed clothes, jewelry, lipstick, hair straighteners etc.  :)  At one point, I had no shoes on and Sarah and Jessica had heels on.  We got SO tickled at the drastic height difference!  HA!

I'm 5' 2"... but I'm pretty sure they had on 3" heels which makes them nearly 6' tall! So I look even shorter! bahahaha!

The ship had a Piano Bar that we stopped by every night.  It was a blast- the guy that played was so talented and the songs were all so fun.  My favorite was when we requested Benny and the Jets and he made us help him sing... it was a crack up!

Later that night we stopped by 70s/80s night at a club on the ship.  Ha!  We were cracking up at the songs-- there was a little "whoop there it is,"  "Baby Got Back," and some other goodies. :)

Then we ventured to find our band.  I say 'our' band because we became their groupies. :)  Sarah and Jessica met them the first night and we watched them every night.  Katie Austin Band... check Katie out here.  They were GREAT- SO talented and Katie, the lead singer, was adorable.  Katie, Dustin (her boyfriend the drummer), Sean, and Randy would hang out with us during their breaks and after their shows.  They were so fun!
