* I think of myself as 'young' and try to be kinda 'cool,' but I was quickly put back into reality when the highschool helpers were calling me, "Miss Amy." I think I still feel 19 in my head. BAHAHAHA!
* My almost 3 year olds did a good job keeping up with the 3 year olds in the big kid class! :) (And had a BLAST with Lizzie and Gracie!)
* My "shy" R and R (which they are sometimes around new people and new situations) learned to LoVe the stage at their VBS performance. It was- HILARIOUS. They started out staring blankly doing nothing which soon turned into running around the podium chasing each other, playing peek-a-boo, jumping around, giggling, laying down... everything BUT singing. ;)
here they are checking out the crowd waiting for performance time.
* Nothing's sweeter than little ones learning about Jesus.
*When I taught 4th grade before I had the girls, I always thought the kindergardeners were such BABIES, but now that I'm with my toddlers all day, having a kinder class as VBS... they seemed SO big! All about perspective. They were so sweet and SO fun.
* I don't have any red in my closet expect one long sleeved shirt. We had a color a day we were supposed to wear and on red day I was stumped. I should do something about that.
* Riley thinks CVS is the same as VBS. Saturday she was running errands with me and I told her we needed to stop by CVS and she said, "Go to CVS and sing songs on stage?!" CVS honey, not VBS. Not nearly as exciting. :)
* I'll add some video of their performance soon...
Thanks for including us in such a fun week, Melissa!
.. grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
