Cruise Day 1

I went on a cruise with my Forever Friends -- friends of 17 years-- last week and it was BEYOND fun!  Anna and I drove down to Houston to pick up Sarah (who flew in from California) and Jessica (who drove in from Austin) from Jessica's parent's house.  When we got to Houston, we first surprised Anna's mom at work with flowers for Mother's Day!  It was FUN to surprise her. :)

Jessica and I grew up down the street from each other, so I HAD to drive by the house I grew up in (from the end of 1st grade thru high school).  I was even a stalker and stopped to take a picture!  HA! :)  So nostalgic... love it.

If only that van wasn't in front of it. :)

Then we headed around the corner to get our other half!!   We were so excited, we were squealing.  We're kind of crazy when we're all together. :)

You woulda thought we were packing for 2 weeks with all this luggage! :)

We finally got to Galveston as boarded the Carnival Ecstacy. 

SO excited.  

**Side note: pretty positive EVERYONE we encountered on the ship thought we were drunk at all times.  (We weren't :) ) We're just SO excited to be together. :) ha!**

This pic cracks me up... we've always had this rule when we take pictures together: I have to lean forward and Sarah and Jess have to lean back.  That way, my head doesn't look too small (it is) and theirs don't look too big.  Here we are exaggerating it. :)

We went straight to the pool and of course J and Anna went straight to the dance floor.

 After spending some time in the sun, we went back to the room to get ready for dinner.  We were laughing at how each of our pedicured toenail polishes showed our personalities:

Anna: Rockin' black with funky design

Jessica: Cool, FUN Blue

Sarah: Sassy, sexy red

Amy: gilry pink

... and I have weird toes.  My 2nd one is shorter than the big one. :)

Anna and I had been up since EARLY that morning, so we were ExHaUsTeD as seen in the below dinner pic:

What?  You can't see my eyes?  That's because I was SO TIRED.  And you know you're good friends when your friend takes a few different shots and honestly says, "Well... you look REALLY tired in these pictures."  ha ha

Anna and I went to bed early while Sarah and Jessica explored the ship.  Day 2 coming soon!  It only gets more fun on the "FUN SHIP."  :)
