the weekend of july 4th, we went to Horseshoe Bay (outside Austin) for some r and r! Well as much rest as you can get with twin almost 2 year olds. :) We made a stop at Richey's cousin's ranch for the girls to run around. They have a caboose on their land! It used to be at a McDonalds and is still full of boxes with old McD toys (Burgler combs, crayons, a wooden Grimace that waves, etc!). It was so fun!

Sassy Riley face. they didn't want to stop... ha
Then we loaded back up to hit the road. Our new dual screen DVD player was a lifesaver. :)

I got R and R Puddle Jumpers for the pool. They're a bit big, but I'm a huge fan! The girls are too.

Reese LOVES the pool. Every day she says to me, "Go. Pool." Her favorite thing to do is jump off the side- brave girl!
The girls REALLY wanted in the pool when I made them stop to take this pic. ha! They LOVE their life jackets- they call them "Broby" because they think it looks like the Yo Gabba Gabba character. :)
Reese and Riley in their 4th of July finest! They weren't cooperating for this pic... :)

Looks like a fun weekend had by all. I bet the girls loved that caboose! Adde & Clare wore the same exact outfits as R&R for the 4th of July. Too cute!
Fun weekend! That is great that they loved the fireworks. M&S still haven't gotten to see them (it was raining this year). They are such cuties!
