Ahhh... Alanis Morissette brings back memories of my junior high years. The times when I hung beads from my door, screwed a black light bulb into my fan, and jammed out to Alanis with my girlfriends in my room. Ironic was a fav. It popped in my head the other day when I was thinking 'anything that could go wrong, is going wrong today.' It's quite ironic. Or some may call it "Murphy's Law." I'd like to share with you:
Ironic- the Baby Edition
Miss I'm Never Sick will start feeling bad
but only when your big trip is planned.
She's burning up. Should you take that flight?
You have to cancel plans, and think
"Well isn't this nice..."
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like rain on your errands day
It's a dirty diaper when you're already late
It's the good advice that just didn't work
Who would've thought... it figures.
The kids don't sleep in after staying up late
You cook dinner, and your kids don't think it's great.
It's like ten-thousand toys and they want the same one
It's playing with boxes and paper. That's the most fun.
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
A little too ironic... and, yeah, I really do think...

i'd like to add it's getting them all sun-screened up at the pool then it starts to rain.
it's buying ten pounds of bananas because she ate them by the dozen last week, for her not to touch them this week.
it's wearing the one shirt that you feel cute in to have it covered in spit-up as you arrive at a restaurant.
