FUN FUN FUN

I wanted to catch up a bit on the summer FUN we've been having the past few weeks!

We had a mall date with the Tarrant twins and it was so much fun! We seriously were like a zoo exhibit... we got LOTS of attention. We decided to take pics at the end of our trip when everyone was sleepy. Reese was not having it! But- still cutie pies! I just love Liz! She and I went to the same college, live about 30 minutes from each other, but didn't know each other until we met through blogging! Blogging brings such great community. So fun!

My friend, Kristi, came over to eat lunch and play one day. She and I have known each other since I was in 6th grade and she was in 7th- when we started going to the same church. She is a sweetheart and it's so fun catching up with her!! In this picture, Reese was demonstrating for Ms. Kristi what a 'cheese face' looks like. :) Reese and Riley ADORE her (for good reason!).

We had another mall date a couple weeks ago, but this time with my friend from college (my 2nd college...), Rathi! She was in town visiting and I got her meet her new baby girl (well she's 4 months old now!), Krishani. Ohhhh how I prayed and prayed for that girl. She's a little miracle. R and R call her 'Nani.' They were very intrigued by the baby. :) Loved seeing you, Rathi and meeting your daughter and sweet Mom and hubby too!

R and R got potties! Princess potties to be exact. But don't get too excited. This is the only time they were interested in sitting on them. Once. And yesterday? Riley walked to her potty, opened the lid, and proceeded to take her blueberries out of her snack cup and placing them inside her potty then picking them out and eating them. Not quite ready... nope. We'll try in a few months.

In the evening, if the girls are fussy beyond repair ;), I've been turning on a distraction... they LOVE the show on Nick Jr.- Fresh Beat Band. It's really cute- about these teens that are in a band. One of them raps and breakdances. :) This is Reese and Riley watching him breakdance and trying to copy him- hahaha! I couldn't stop laughing.

Last week, my mom's friends, Lolly and Bobbie came to visit her new house and new town. We HAD to go see them too so they could meet Reese and Riley. I've know Lolly since we moved to Houston in '89 and she and my mom taught together. And Bobbie- I have mentioned before on another post. Remember this post about how the girls got their names?? Well Bobbie is my mama's friend that prayed and prayed for "Abigail Grace" :) that Richey and I would be blessed with a baby. She is so special to us and she finally got to meet our miracles!

We've had lots of busy fun this summer. We had a fabulous trip to Horseshoe Bay (outside Austin) for the 4th- that'll be the next post!
