The girls had a wonderful time at their party- As seen above, Reese was a bit careful when digging into her cake, while Riley double handed it, shoved it in her mouth, giggled, and even stopped and did a little jig at one point. ha!  HILARIOUS.  I'll have to upload the video (as soon as I figure out how to from our video camera).

Oh- notice they AREN'T wearing bows???  These silly girls won't for the life of them keep on their bows- darn!  I LOVE big bow heads.  They're precious anyway!

What a GREAT 1st birthday!  Reese and Riley were SO cute in their tutus and loved being the center of attention (When do they not??!).  It was a special day- one we'll never forget.

Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with Reese Abigail and Riley Grace- our miracle babies!

On Sunday, our babies were dedicated to the Lord in front of our congregation at Irving Bible Church.  We were so thankful to have our family and best friends in the front row as we committed to raise our babies to know Jesus Christ as their savior.  Before I was pregnant (and really wanted to be), I remember crying through "Baby Dedication" day.  I remember longing to have a child- longing to share with him/her the love of our God- longing to stand before our church with OUR baby.  Thank you, Lord, that our day came- and with TWO babies.  How precious it was.

The girls were so cute- I have to say though- they were the only ones who were wiggly and talking.  Reese was having a full on conversation (don't know who with?) and waving to the audience.  At one point Riley started squealing and bouncing and laughing- I think that was once she noticed so many people were looking at her.  Such little HAMS! ha!  Not sure where they get that from... :)
