Undomestic Goddess

Why, oh why must I be adventurous and try new things in the kitchen, yet fail miserably again...and again... especially when I need to take that treat that flopped to some party or school or for bunko?? I've come to realize I'm very capable of doing many things, but cooking is not my strong point! Come to find out... I can't even melt white chocolate! I was all pumped about making these ADORABLE (Easy, so the website said) ghost cookies to bring to Leah and Ben's Halloween party-- I'll post pics of that soon!-- but due to my inability to melt white chocolate, it was a flop!

Here's my white chocolate when I tried to melt it in my fondue pot. WHY is it so lumpy??

So despite all my mess ups and frustrations... here are the reasons I keep on keepin on...
1. I LOVE wearing my CUTE Anthropology apron Leah gave me for Christmas!
2. Because every now and then... probably more often than that, it turns out good!
3. Licking the batter when baking brings back childhood memories. :)
4. Because my sweet friend Susan and my sweet friend Katie always help me when I need it.
5. My hubby always compliments AND eats my "treats" no matter what! :)
