sweet baby

I helped throw my precious friend, Rachel's, baby shower last month. Her baby girl is now almost 2 weeks old. Her nursery is pink and turquoise and decorated with little birds, so I planned the shower around it. It was so much fun!

I had everyone write Baby Lauren a little note inside this precious book:

If you haven't read it or don't own it, get it NOW. It will melt your heart. Seriously!

I LOVED how the cake turned out- it was exactly what I wanted and DELICIOUS as usual. (If you're in the DFW area, check out Tiers by Tista-- amazing!)

The table- it was a late afternoon shower, so we served cheese, crackers, cake, and had a chocolate fountain.

We also had hot chocolate- I used Annalee's recipe. It was AWESOME!

Rachel already has a little boy, so seeing her reactions to her little girl gifts was priceless!
