Our Master Bedroom is totally neglected as far as decor goes. I think I've ignored it mainly because when we moved in (uhhh.... 5 years ago this summer!), I didn't like the paint color... but still haven't painted it due to the ridiculously high vaulted ceilings! It's a dark gray/blue. I refer to it as the bat cave, however, it has grown on me.
Last year I got a FUN lime green duvet cover from PB and zebra pillows for our bed, which I love. (You can see it in this pic- the girls are on our bed. You can also see the color of our dark walls!)
So... someday I might go to the trouble of painting, but for now, I just want SOMETHING on the walls to make it a room I love. While at Antique Show, I bought an old window for $10. Yesterday I filled it with some black and white favorites and plan on hanging it above our bed. This is the finished product (my living room rug is showing thru if you're wondering what that is!)
I also got a wall decal that says, "Always Remember to Kiss Me Goodnight" i though it was sweet! Now I just need to get these things up!
Any bedroom design tips???

Well this could be my post, too! Our bedroom was about the only room we didn't change when we moved here (3 years ago!) We also have vaulted celings that will make painting "fun"! It's boring beige and I'm sure it will stay that way for quite awhile - especially since the playroom is also boring beige and the girls just can't handle that much longer! Love the window frame! You're so creative!
Our master has been neglected, too. I decided when we moved into this house, we were finally going to work on the master. I bought a silver bedspread from the Hotel collection, and I planned on mirrored side tables, black furniture, and lime green accents. But six months later, I still have done nothing!
the window with pictures looks adorable! great idea! i have the same issue with our bedroom. hate the original paint color but havent done anything about it because we too have really high ceilings. hanging some curtains really helped (why hadnt we done that before?). since the ceilings are so high we have a hard time trying to decide what to hang on the walls. let me know what you come up with! btw, ava was dismissed from eci last week and we are very sad about not seeing miss kena. :(

I'm the same way. Our master bedroom is the one room that I have yet to totally decorate. I keep saying that I'm going to do it. I finally got paint on the walls and a few pics, but that's about it. Can't wait to see your finished room!!
