The girls LOVE wearing our sunglasses, so when I saw these precious kid sunglasses at the Dollar Spot at Target, I snatched them up. Reese and Riley were VERY excited to receive their fun treat. They put them on right away and trotted around like they were hot stuff while I took their picture!

And Riley the butterfly- she looks cute AND studious, don't you think??
It was allllll fun and games until RILEY got hurt. She was crawling (with her sunglasses on) toward the kitchen where Richey, Reese, and I were. She stopped right by Reese when she tripped and fell RIGHT ON Riley's head. The oh so cute sunglasses took a gash out of her little forehead. There was lots of blood. I got dizzy and passed her off to her daddy. I'm thankful he was home. We washed it, doctored it up, and put a bandaid on!
She wasn't too happy... :(
Then we noticed that blood was still visible... we looked again and decided that it was probably a bit deep and that she might need stitches. Poor baby! Thinking about the stitches made me dizzy. I passed the job on to her daddy. I'm thankful he was home.
Instead of stitches, our neighborhood ER, 'glued' her wound. It sounds better than stitches to me. When she got home, she was all giggles! Kids are quite resilient.

Oh my! Poor Riley! I got a little light headed just reading this! Looks like she was a trooper! I've been trying to get my girls to wear sunglasses... think I'll give up on that now!
Poor baby!! I can't believe it was over dollar spot sunglasses!! Maybe I should put ours up now!!!
Oh man and she look SO cute too!! I would have been fainting too..poor baby girl!!! The sunglasses were so cute!!! :) That glue stuff is a miracle if you ask me...
Poor little Riley!! Glad she is ok!! I love the Target dollar section, but I will have to remember that one for when Cole is walking...
Poor thing!
We always head to Urgent Care first since the co-pay is $25 instead of ER co-pay of $100.... I'm sad to say we have been to Urgent Care many times because of the craziness of twin boys!
