Last week, my hubby and I spent a WEEK in paradise! We went to Cancun- ate a ton, had delicious fruity drinks, ventured out on adventures in the city, read book after book, laid by the pool and beach, and enjoyed time relaxing!
It was the longest time we had left the girls and it was really hard at the beginning of the week. My heart literally ached for them, but once we got to talk to them (well hear their voices!), it made it better. We missed them like crazy, but definitely had a wonderful time!! We loved getting home to them and pulling out their souvenirs just like my parents used to do for my sister and me. The girls have been carrying around their purses and seashells and shaking those maracas non stop! It's good to be home. But I will admit, we're already talking about our next vacation. ha!

I have twin girls, also. Ellie and Gracelyn are a few months younger than Reese and Riley. We haven't left them yet. Not even for a night. It isn't because we haven't wanted to, believe me!! Hopefully we will get to take a vacation soon, too!! Looks like you had a blast!!
I'm so glad you had a GREAT time! It is so beautiful there! You give me confidence that someday, hopefully soon, I can venture (further than 20 miles and longer than 4 hours) away from my girlies!
We try to take two trips each year. One is with the kids, and one is on our own. We took the girls to Playa del Carmen last year,a dn they are begging to go back. I think we have created little travel monsters! At least they like to go places I like to go!

So jealous! Lucas and I have never been on vacation. No, not even a honeymoon. He spends so much time overseas that during his days home he wants to stay home.
How fun!! That beach looks gorgeous & so relaxing :-) I am going to Mexico in July & seeing these pics have made it THAT much harder to wait!! lol

Glad you two had a great time! I told you it would fly by and the girls would be fine. We're going to Playa on Friday for 5 days and I can't wait, but I'm not too excited about leaving the girls and don't want to the trip to be over already. Cute pics and cute couple!
