It's become our tradition the past few years with our friends Susan and Tommy and Josh and Rachel to go to Horseshoe Bay for the 4th of July. Last year when we were there, I was HUGE and pregnant floating in the pool finding it hard to believe that the next year Reese and Riley would actually be there with us. It was so much fun AND baby Drew was there this year too!

On Saturday, the boys and Susan too, head to the boat to decorate it for the 4th of July Boat Parade (on Lake LBJ). We loaded up the kids to go watch. It was HOT!

The girls go to bed by 7:30, so at 9:00, we woke them up (yikes) to go to Miss Karen and Mr David's house to watch fireworks. Their house sits high on a hill so sitting on their balcony, we could see FIVE different firework shows from surrounding towns! It was awesome! (We also brought the pack and plays and put the girls back to sleep).

After the fireworks, we pulled the girls' beds out of the bedroom to load them up again (poor babies!). They didn't even wake up- it was so funny!

We had SO much fun! The girls did great- they slept well and played hard. Can't wait until next year (or sooner!) :)

How much fun! Those babies were wondering "why on earth are they waking us up right now!?" LOL The looks on their faces in that pic are so funny. They are just so pretty, Amy. And can I just say, you can't even tell you've had twins!! You look great.
