Weekend Update

Remember all those fun things I was soooo excited about for the weekend??  Well we had a change of plans! :(  The NICU reunion was cancelled due to the Swine Flu- the CCD said to avoid social gatherings or something.  My mom and dad couldn't come because kids at mom's school have had the flu (not swine, but flu) and she didn't want to expose the girls if she had been (which I appreciate!).  AND since my parents couldn't come (and I want them there:) )and we're taking it a bit easy with getting out and about since the schools around us are closed and such, we decided to catch the next baby dedication (in Sept).  So... we did hardly a thing this weekend, which was actually nice since it was so rainy.

On another note- today Reese and Riley are 8 months old!!!  (5 1/2 months adjusted age).  They are precious and are so much fun!  I will say though... Reese is teething (2 bottom teeth are coming through) and it's certainly changed our days... lots of crying and she wants mommy to hold her all the time which is sweet and wouldn't be a problem, BUT... I have another baby too. :)  Poor thing!  She's crying as I type.  It's hard being a baby!  Read more about my little sweeties' 8 month updates here!  

Pray for us- tomorrow we go to Cranial Tech. to get the Doc bands!!  Pray for the girls to adjust well (and us too).  Teething AND helmets... this should be interesting! :)
