i heart jeans

I'm a jeans girl.  I like dresses and all girly things, but there's something about finding that perfect pair of jeans.  It's just the best.  Different times in my life, I've had different favs.  Let's see... iI was a huge fan of Express Jeans.  I find a fav and wear it until there's holes in them.  From there, I went to Gap boot cut and think I might have cried a tear when my favs- the faded boot cut got a hole in the knee... About a year ago I discovered designer jeans and fell in love even more (it's bad, I know).   When my sister was pregnant, I got to borrow her clothes... including her Citizen and Seven Jeans...

oh how I fell head over heels.  I began searching ebay and Plato's Closet (let's face it, designer = expensive and there's no reason to spend full price!) and found a couple cute pairs.  THEN when I got pregnant I really started pooching out very early (because it was twins??  that's my excuse anyway!), so when the Belly Band just wouldn't work with my fav jeans anymore, I went shopping and found a new favorite pair (and Leah- sister- borrowed mine!).  Good 'ol Motherhood Maternity- Maternity Jeans!!!  I was in heaven- I could breathe, I vowed to always wear maternity and/or stretchy pants for the rest of my life.   But... I've since changed my mind.  There's something about not being pregnant that makes the once "cute maternity pants" that so cutely fit snug on a little belly not so cute anymore... ha!  So for now I have found a pair of Gap jeans (once again) flare that I adore.   But... what I'm really looking forward to, is getting my booty back into my former favs- those Plato's Closet designer finds from the past!  What is YOUR favorite kind of JeAnS???  Are you a jeans girl too?!

Long long ago it was Express jeans. For the past decade or so it's been Old Navy jeans. But I think it's time to move on - and move up! I just want to lose like 5-10 pounds before I go spend a nice chunk of money, you know!?

I love jeans, but have a hard time finding the right pair. I used to like Gap jeans. Lately I wear jeans from Maurices, but they are just ok. I haven't ventured out into designer jeans and should probably stay away from them...

I am soooo a jeans girl too! I would love to wear them everyday. Right now I love my jeans from the Buckle. It takes a while to find the right pair and I always get frustrated in the dressing room but once you find the right fit, it's wonderful! A couple summers ago I found some David Kahn capri's and have worn the heck out of them. They were one of my first designer jean purchases and were pricey but worth every penny. Have a wonderful week!

I am very much a jeans girl too, and yes my favorite changes as the body changes. It takes alot of trying on to find the perfect fit, but when you do, there is NOTHING like it! Right now, I have to say my favs are the secret fit belly flare from none other than Motherhood Maternity....man these people have the monopoly on maternity clothes:)

I share your jean love! I am a 7's and Citizen's addict. I didn't buy a pair of amternity citizens but my sister did and eventually i had to make some exchanged for them. I try on my old jeans everyday "just to make sure" they are still too tight. I have one pair that will zip, but are WAY too tight to wear in public and I have an unfortunate "dun-lap" belly right now... Have you ever been to Nordstroms Rack? Depending on what they get in they sometimes have TONS of awesome jeans for cheap. they always have Men's designer jeans for cheaper. I call them "special jeans" JAred is now a fan of "Man Seven's"

oh the quest for the perfect jean. it's never ending! i too am in love with designer jeans now. i just love the way they hold their shape so much better. my very faves are citizens (that got torn on our attic steps when we were moving in and i raced to get them patched asap!) although i actually got a pair of old navy jeans a few weeks ago for only $35 (the flirt style) and have been impressed with the way they fit so far. good luck!

oh how I love jeans!!
I used to wear express jean or white house/black market jeans...love them! I then discovered designer jeans and LOVE my Paige jeans...so great, yet very expensive. I also like citizen jeans...I need a new pair of those. :) Now that I stay at home...it is yoga pants/shorts or jeans! love it!

Oooh girl...I love designer jeans!! I love Joe Jeans, Citizens, 7's...I could go on and on. I have so many cute pairs that I can't get my butt into, right now. Hormone weight is the pits. I have found designer 7's at Stein Mart for less. Do you have a Stein Mart? Once you buy designer jeans...you never go back! :)

Amy, thanks for the comment. Glad to see I'm not alone. Isn't it funny? I really never thought about the things holding us back until I started inviting God back into my life after such a long hiatus. That is crazy about your keys! He probably knew how many people you were going to touch that night. Crazy how it all works.

I can't wait to see yall!!!! Only a little more time and flu season will be over! YAY!

For several years I had a job where I could wear jeans to work and it was wonderful! I have a pair of jeans from American Eagle that I would live in if it was possible. Gap long and lean are another favorite - they make my legs look great! I am really hoping I can find some good maternity jeans...

I LOVE jeans! I used to be an Express fanatic in college. Then switched to Banana... then, like many others, made the swtich to designer jeans when I was prego with my first kiddo and haven't gone back! Right now, my faves are 7's and Citizens. Ever tried Miss Me? They are stretchy and fit super cute on the booty!
