We had another fun weekend! Richey's 29th birthday was on Saturday- we started his day with yummy pancakes and presents. I got him some clothes (boring but that's all he wanted and all I could think of since I have limited opportunity to shop lately...) and hid 29 love letters around the house. It was so funny- he was looking for all of them and then would count his "loot." Then off to search again... I'm soooo good: he hasn't even found them all yet. :) I made him Martha Stewart's Banana Cupcakes with Carmel Buttercream Icing.... VERY delicious!! I'll post the recipe on this post!! We had a few friends over to cook out and eat cupcakes with us Saturday night- it was so fun! Leah, Ben, and Casen gave Richey My First Dance Dance Revolution (a kid version!) that plugs right into the TV- no need for a playstation with this version. It was hilarious to play!!
Riley in her bouncy chair while I was making cupcakes. She talked to me most of the time and then just wore herself out!
Reese in her bouncy chair while I was baking... it had been a while... she was ready to get out!
Mixing, mixing... I got a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas, BUT it was white and I want black to match my kitchen.. and STILL haven't exchanged it! Ugh! I need to. I can't WAIT to use it!!

The recipe makes a lot....
Mmmmmm!
The recipe was from my Martha Stewart Living Magazine. Here's the link to the recipe for the cupcakes and icing. Not healthy by any means, but delicious!
Sunday, Leah, Casen, and I went to Divine Consign. It was GREAT! They had a TON of clothes, toys, etc. It was a lot of fun. I got ALL of this for $21 (including precious smocked Easter dresses for $3 each) !!! If you live in the DFW area, next weekend Divine Consign will be in Plano... you should go-- it's worth it!
(This plus the dress Reese is wearing below... it got spit up on big time, and is in the wash, so it didn't make the picture!)
Yesterday, Leah and Casen and Robin and Charlotte came to see us! Thanks for coming over, friends! We had FUN!

I just wanted to check out your blog. I found it on The Shabby Nest website. Congrats on winning the giveaway. Your twins are so cute. And, I just had to tell you that your red and white apron is the cutest thing I've ever seen!
