Out of the mouth of children...

Reese and Riley have been saying the funniest things lately- I want to write them down so I don't forget!

*Today Riley told me they were playing Market. Wasn't sure what they meant until I heard her say, "On your market, get set, go!"

*Reese loves to tell a good story (usually including a princess).  They always start with "Once a tata time..."

*Riley: My nose is raining today! (instead of running!)

(Riley is in the I like to dress myself stage.  Also the I will pose for your picture stage)

Lately I've been serenaded by Reese and Riley's rendition of songs... like:
*"Baa Baa Black Sheep"... and one for the little boy who lives down the DRAIN (rather than lane).
* Up-a-bubba world so high... (up above the world so high... twinkle twinkle little star)
*And Row Row Row Your Boat ...gently down the street.  Merry Merry Merry Merry like a diamond in the sky.  :)

Christmas and their curiosity prompted lots of funny things like their new favorite song becoming Feliz Navidad!

*After hearing "Feliz Navidad" several times on the radio, Riley very matter of factly said: "Santa speak Spanish, Mom"  Guess she thought he was singing. :)

*Christmas Eve when the girls were going to bed, Reese said, "Mommy, is Santa here?  Is he gonna get me....?"  Guess we need to work on the whole Santa thing... :)  (I assured her he would not)

* Jingle Bells (their 2nd favorite Christmas song) came on & Reese said to Riley: "Remember when I sang this in the movie theater back when we were kids?"  (1. I don't recall a time we sang this at the movies & 2. I don't recall 3 years old no longer being a kid!!)

(Reese is in the I will make a silly face for every picture phase.  Also, the I don't want mom to do my hair stage... therefore it is a big ole' messy mess)
