- no naps. apparently falling asleep in the car for 15 minutes (despite my best efforts to keep them awake) was sufficient in their minds rather than their normal 2 hr nap.
- dancing and singing to the Glee soundtrack. Riley particularly loves "Gold Digger." She really gets down with that one- seriously.
- eating Sonic ice for the first time. they loved it! or maybe it's the fact that dr. pepper with vanilla used to be touching my ice??
- raid ant bait traps. that's right- reese found one (?!) and chewed on it. yum. (mom of the year, I know). I freaked and called... the dr? no. poison control? no. my mom and sister (they're together). yes. THEN called poison control. no worries. she's fine. all I kept thinking was I was SO glad I wasn't calling PCC about what Jen another twin mommy had to call about... you HAVE to read this post. HILARIOUS. something found in her night stand... ha ha ha. Ant bait wasn't quite as embarrassing as that probably was.
only the finest for MY girls: no naps, glee, crushed ice, and ant bait. yep. only the finest over here this afternoon.

Even now I have been known to blare music and shout the lyrics to my four year olds just so they won't fall asleep in the car! We don't nap any more but if we're on the way home from somewhere at night I'm not risking a 15 minute snooze in the car giving them a second wind right at bed time!
Oh, just wait until you pull a bug out of her mouth!!! Too funny.
Merry Christmas to you all!!
