"Laughter is the best medicine!"

What a CrAzY week it's been-- well couple weeks I should say. This is a busy time of year for me. As I've mentioned before, I coordinate our Women's Christmas Dinner at church (for 1400 people or so!). Read here for more! And of course more to come as it gets here!

Look with me: a glimpse into our lives...

*We started Christmas Dinner ticket sales this month which is busy busy and SO exciting at the same time. My hubby has been super sweet having lots of fun playing with the girlies on Sundays while I've been working hard for the... money Dinner... :)

* Reese decided that 14 months... was a great time to start throwing fits. You know the kind- arched back, throw herself on the floor crying. She even laid on her tummy and kicked her feet yesterday morning. Awesome. And she's my laid back chid. Oh dear.

* Riley's has had tummy issues (as in not going but trying and straining). We tried all our tricks, she's gone to the dr twice in the past week and we're now trying a little Miralax in her water. Prunes aren't helping, white grape juice isn't helping, infant massage helps a little, avoiding foods that constipate isn't working. The suppository last week sure did work and last for a couple days, but we can't keep doing that. And so far the Miralax has helped a bit. Ahhh! Poor baby. Breaks my heart. (sorry to over share! :) ) It's effected her sleeping too. :( So we've had one fussy Riley Grace.

* So last night, I was making Lo Mein which called for some molasses for the sauce. When I went to put the GLASS JAR away, I dropped it. Yep. Glass and molasses were EVERYWHERE. The babes were in their highchairs (thank goodness), but it was a stinker to clean up! OH. MY. GOSH. Drama. And the Lo Mein- it was only okay. Dang it.

* Did I mention BOTH girls are teething? I didn't? Oh- well there ARE. So I have cuddly girls (which is sweet, but causes frustration with them when I'm not holding both of them... that's a hard one), drooling, chewing on everything, and a bit of biting too (I told Riley it wasn't funny to stick her finger in Reese's mouth like she though it was. :) She believes me now. :)).

* Oh AND I've been planning a Twilight New Moon party with my sister. :) I'm SUPER excited about it-- it's all themed out with decor, food, drinks, favors, and all. After the partaaa (next Sat), we're all going to see NEW MOON. I'll post all the details soon. I'm pumped (yes, I'm almost 30. yes, I love a teeny bopper series. yes, I'm giddy. yes, my hubby knows. yes, he, too, loves twilight and was kinda bummed i make my twilight party a girls night- ha!)

So amongst the craziness of our life {Beyond Normalcy: Life With Twins}, I must laugh. It's the best medicine. And I think God really has a good sense of humor. Who wants predictable normalcy? Not me. God knows that and he's holding me in his hand, molding me into the best mom and wife and volunteer and party planner I can be. :) For that I'm thankful. But... I am hoping for a little less craziness next week... here's to hoping!
