... especially Moms of Multiples!! I now have 4 twin mama 'blog friends' that have turned into 'real life friends' and I am SO thankful! We had a Twin Mama getaway last weekend and had a BLAST. It felt like we were all old friends. We all knew at least one of the girls in the group in person, but it was fun to all come together and get to know each other. They are PRECIOUS.

Shelley (b/g twins- 3), Britni (g/g twins- 2), Liz (g/g twins- 19 months), Hannah (b/g twins 2 1/2), me (g/g twins- 2)

me and Liz at my house
Liz and I made party favors... because WHAT'S a girls getaway without party favors?!
We arrived at the airport where Hannah picked us up and headed to the hotel. Shelley and Britni met us there a couple hours later.

Our hotel was fabulous!
We of course headed out for Mexican food on night one. And were serenaded by a lovely LOUD Mariachi band while we enjoyed a kidless dinner and drinks. Gotta love San Antonio.

Our trip was filled with lots of Starbucks stops, shopping, and relaxing. It was perfect.
Friday we got pedicures at the Riverwalk Mall. Pampering at it's best.
And more shopping... Good thing everyone had an IPhone so we could find our way around. Oh wait, LIZ and I don't! ;) Maybe we'll be cool next year and have one. hahaha
ahhhh. our every morning delight. 0.2 miles from the hotel= bliss.
We LOVED La Cantera- talk about great shopping! Especially this adorable kid's clothing store (the African Store- right Hannah??!! :) ) Naartjie. You have to check out their website. I LOVE.
This is what happens when your camera has a 30 second delay on timed pictures. HA!
We sorta had fun. ;) (I LOVE this pic!)
We enjoyed afternoon drinks and chips and queso.

Hannah, Shelley, and Britni
We took a picture in front of The Alamo. We wore our "Peace, Love, Twins" shirts that Britni designed and Casey got printed for us through her shop Designed for Babies. Thanks, Casey!
Saturday night we got all dressed up, ate a delicious dinner at a wine bar by our hotel and went to the Majestic Theater. It's GORGEOUS!
We saw Jersey Boys- it was GREAT!! Who doesn't love Frankie Valli (with an 'i' ;) ) and the Four Seasons?!
Sunday our group started dwindling... Liz, Shelley, and I stayed til the late afternoon before flying back. We enjoyed one more loooooong lunch kid free then headed to the airport. :)
We also walked down the Riverwalk to the hotel where my husband's company was having their yearly Trade Show! It was random how it turned out to be in San Antonio and the SAME weekend as my Twin Mama trip! Liz and Shelley got to learn about truck accessories and meet some of the fam (it's a family business). :)
This trip was wonderful. I'm so blessed to have you girls in my life and so thankful to my wonderful babysitter and parents for watching my girlies! What a blessing!!

Glad you had such a fun time! It's so neat that you all have become friends!
I told Hannah today that this look like lots of fun! And how sorry I am that I had to miss it. Glad you guys got a chance to eat a couple of meals without any interruptions! peace, love, & twins!
What a FUN trip!!! I am so sorry I never wrote you back on things to do while you are here (looks like y'all did not have a problem there). I checked that fb message in the car and then totally forgot all about it!! Pregnancy brain I guess. Sorry about that.
Anyways...Looks like y'all had a blast. I think it is so neat y'all do that together. And YES, La Cantera is a gift straight from God himself. We also love Naartjie...One of my favorites there.
Glad y'all had such a fun trip!!
Awww... What a great post. I miss everyone already! I love the "never before seen photos" from the last day. :-)

Only one person missing in all of these pictures...ME! I HATE that I had to miss the first trip, but I'm coming next year no matter what. And maybe I'll have an IPhone by then too!!!

Looks like yall had so much fun! Girls trips are the best, especially now as moms. I am from SA and so all your pics made me miss it even more.
Ok Hayley, there are 2 people missing in all those pics! Me and you! Looks like yal had a great time. I am still upset about missing it. I hope to be there next year though.
OK, Hayley and Kristi... I was supposed to be there, too! Don't forget about me! I'm already looking forward to next year! Do we really have to wait a whole year ?!?
