* Riley and I went on a mommy-daughter date to Target- just she and I, so... that means she got to ride in the cart for the first time (with TWO that are just now sitting, there's no way)! She loved sitting up and looking around and L-O-V-E-D getting attention all to herself. :) It was weird to only have one baby, but it was so fun to be with my Riley girl.
* Reese and Riley took a bath together today- there was lots of laughing, splashing (See action shot of Riley below), drinking of the bath water, and Reese trying to crawl in the tub. It was a 2-man (or man and woman/dad and mom) job, but it was so fun!
* Reese pulled up! This little girl is crawling ALL over the place now... ummm... HELLO dirty floors. HOW in the world after sweeping and mopping, can this girl find something else after something else to put in that mouth of hers?? Thank you, Reese for helping me clean and making me aware of all things tiny and gross in my house.
* Due to Reesey's crawling, sitting, sitting on her knees, and now pulling up, we lowered the girls' crib mattresses! We figured Riley will catch up with her sometime, so hers was lowered too. Can't believe they're getting so grown up. Time flies.
*Reese and Riley are totally digging their new car seats. They can see each other, so I hear them giggling and talking to each other in the car all the time. They even have more room to "sprawl" out when napping- ha!
*And on Tuesday, the girls, Aunt Leah, and Cousin Casen, and I are alllllll going down to Houston for the week to see my parents! It'll be an interesting drive down all together in one car, but fun! :) Oh and our limo (double stroller) won't fit in the car with the third row seat down, so... we're going to try to hook it to the back in this basket thing on the hitch- ha! That thing is ginormous!

Please , please tell me you two will take pictures of you trying to load that stroller onto some basket thing on the hitch! You don't have the best stroller track record, and it is bound to be interesting!!
I once drove from Houston to Austin with both of my kids and both of my sister's kids ALONE. At one point, I had to pull over and take a sanity break (ie step out of the car and shut the door, removing myself from the screaming!). Good luck to you two!
Isn't it fun to be like everyone else and put your baby in the basket. Emma Kate and I do that some on the weekends when Daddy is home.
Yes, the knees of their capris will be gross b/c of crawling. It is crazy! So fun that you are going on a trip with Leah and Casen...have a WONDERFUL time!
