That's hard to find! I'm trying to do at least one thing a day for me in the middle of all this craziness... even if it's just getting Chick-Fil-A or Starbucks. :) My typical day lately consists of: pumping, eating, visiting my girls, pumping, napping, pumping, eating, visiting my girls, pumping... notice a pattern here?? :) So... it was a pleasure to meet up with the LoLEEtas (the gals I taught with at Lee Elem) for dinner last week! I got to pass around pics of my sweet Reese and Riley like any proud mom would do! It as so much fun. That's a positive of the girls having fab babysitters in the NICU-- we still have the freedom of going out without having to find someone to watch our girls... but I'm pretty sure that our NICU babysitters cost WAY more than anyone else would... :) Here's a pic of some of the group (Ashley- I stole this from your myspace page!).

Then today I went to MOPS at IBC (my church). It was so much fun to see friends and meet new ones. It's a mom's group... not sure that it has really sunk in that I'm a "Mom," but I'm soooooooooooo glad that I am!! So every other Wednesday morning I'll get to go to Mops!

And tomorrow my bunko group will get together to talk... I mean play. We usually do more of the first. :) They're gals from Lee too. Can't wait!
What have you done for YOU lately???

Thank goodness for bunko and moms night out - sanity savers!
I love going to MOPS too! I just started and love it! :) We have it every other Friday. It is so fun being a stay at home mom.
I also have Biblestudy on Thursday mornings. I try not to do lots during the week, I spend lots of my time on the floor with Noah and Emma. LOVE floor time. You will too soon!
That schedule look VERY famaliar to me...I remember the days when pumping was in the middle of everyting! I had a party at 10 weeks when the dr. said I could just nurse and didn't have to nurse, bottle feed, and pump. I was soooo excited to stop pumping!!!
You definitely need some YOU time and I'm so proud of you for taking it!
After this cycle is over, I'm going to have some me time at the spa. Remind me that I said that when it's over, k?
And what a fun group of girls you have there!
Keep taking care of yourself girl...it only makes you an even better mother to those precious baby girls. :)
((HUGS))
Good for you for doing things for yourself during this time! Sounds like you are trying to find a healthy balance in the midst of this hectic time. Those girls are precious!
Well, considering the babysitter cancelled, I'll be doing a whole lot of nothing for me this weekend! Maybe I can go drop my kids off at the NICU, too?! Think they take seven and four-year-olds??
How fun! I loved seeing the picture of everyone together. A lot of familiar faces that I love!!
So glad you are taking some you-time! Those girls are precious!!
Looks like a fun gathering of Lee teachers! I hope Reese and Riley are doing well and get to come home soon!
I had to tell you thank you for the sweet comment on my Thoughtful Thursday post. It is nice to hear such encouraging words from someone who knows exactly what I am feeling. Wishing you a wonderful week!
