Good Ole' Tom Thumb

Due to some cravings... that I HAD to HAVE, I darted up to the Tom Thumb for a few things yesterday.  My basket consisted of:

1.  Juicy Juice

2.  Dill Veggie Dip

3.  Veggies

4.  String Cheese

5.  Pickles  and

6.  Gum

I'm not sure if the strange variety gave it away, or my new bulging belly, but the checkout girl and I had a great conversation- it cracked me up, and went like this:

Young Girl: Thank you maam.  Have a nice day.

Me:  Thanks!  You too.

Young Girl: Hey.   You pregnant?

Me: Uhh... yes, I am *thinking: I've NEVER been asked that question in my life. hmmm....*

Girl: Awwww!

Me: With twins actually.

Girl: Na way!  You look tiny to have twins in there!

Me: Well, I'm only 11 weeks, so really... I'm probably big for 11 weeks compared to most pregnancies.

Girl: Woah!  Ya, I guess so!  Daaaaang!  Okay, Have a nice day maam.

Me... and you as well... and PS don't ever ask people "that" question... you could be wrong....
